Every 3 months the Schoolhouse Quilters delivers 30 comfort pillows to the North Island Hospital Comox Valley where they are distributed to breast cancer patients recovering from surgery.
In order to meet this need, the committee will hostsew days on the second Thursday of every third month (January, April, July, and October) where members can make one (or more) of these bags.
Pre-assembled kits containing everything you need (fabric, batting and instructions) will be available.
