2024-25 President’s Challenge Announced
The President’s Challenge this year is …
HST (Half Square Triangle)!
It is one of the most common and most versatile quilt blocks.
What is your favorite layout for these? Maybe it’s stars or chevrons? Or maybe flying geese? Perhaps you ready to try a new layout ? Do you have a preferred method for trimming these to size? Sometimes, the options seem unlimited!
To participate in this year’s challenge :
Register with the Vice President and pay the $5.00 entry fee
If you complete your project by the June meeting, your $5.00 is returned. Fail to complete the challenge and your money goes to the Community Quilts Program.
Rules:
Any size project will be accepted
Other blocks can be included in your layout, but the main focus should be HST
